Successfully promoting renewable energy demands ongoing commitment and effort
While we are familiar with and do business with all the major players in the energy sector, as well as most biomass wholesalers, our knowledge of European companies in the process industry utilizing or interested in biomass for on-site energy production and consumption is limited.
Your role will involve identifying, contacting, and together with traders persuade these companies to become customers of CM Biomass, joining us in the crucial endeavor to protect our environment and combat climate change.
What it expectedly takes to be successful
You have prior experience with sales, including cold calling, and you know what it takes to make a lead become a client.
We know that you most likely don’t have knowledge about wood pellets or for that matter biomass. But we hope that you at one point in time and apart from cold calling have gained some experience selling physical goods or services to the industrial process industry, where the buying center typically is operations, facility management or procurement.
It might be buzzwords. But none the less it is important that other people describe you as having solid communication and relationship-building skills (and English is a must), being resilient and persistent, and being self-motivated and full of initiative. You are result-orientated – but a bit atypically – for the long run.
You know what it takes to work structurally with sales and are used to working with miscellaneous it- and CRM systems. We use MS CRM.

Your foundation and our commitment to you
You will be based at our pleasant headquarters in Copenhagen, working closely with our international team of traders, the business developers, and the business intelligence unit.
While you may expect a combination of a fixed salary and commission, our approach is different. We prioritize long-term commitment, and thus, like all our colleagues, we will determine a fixed salary that is suitable for you.
Initially, most of your work will be conducted through desktop work, utilizing the phone and PC as your primary tools. However, as time progresses, we anticipate that an increasing number of potential and new customers will prefer face-to-face meetings, allowing you to join the traders closing deals on-site. This may involve limited international travel.
