So, we expect the areas of responsibilities for the Business Intelligence unit and your role are:
-
You and the team conduct comprehensive research and analyses of the wood pellet market, including supply and demand dynamics, pricing trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments. This involves monitoring industry reports, analysing market data, and identifying key market drivers and opportunities. The same goes to monitoring power market developments both following intra-power developments in Europe, especially, as well
-
You and the team develop forecasts and projections for wood pellet supply & demand based on various factors such as micro/macro energy consumption patterns, government policies, and renewable energy targets. Assessing the potential growth and market penetration of wood pellets in different regions and sectors.
-
You and the team analyze pricing structures and cost components associated with wood pellet production, transportation, and distribution. Evaluating pricing trends, identifying cost drivers, and assessing the competitiveness of wood pellets compared to other energy sources.
-
You and the team evaluate market risks and uncertainties, such as changes in government policies, fluctuations in energy and wood pellet prices, and regulatory compliance. Developing risk management strategies and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate potential risks will be part of this.
-
You and the team summarize your research findings and analyses in concise reports and presentations for management, other internal stakeholders, clients, and industry conferences – often also presenting complex market insights effectively to non-technical audiences.
-
You and the team collaborate with cross-functional teams, including trading/sales, execution, sustainability, and finance, to align market analysis with business strategies. And you build relationships with industry experts/networks, suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies to stay informed about market trends and developments.
